Knowledge Box TC&BM is being launched
All relevant information about the latest trends and developments in the field of trade compliance and border management. It can be found in a brand new digital knowledge box which is being launched on 30 November at the annual ICT & Logistics event in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht. This is especially intended for SMEs in international trade and distribution who want to stay on top of their field and improve their work processes.
The Netherlands is traditionally a vanguard in the area of trade compliance and border management. And if it is up to the Customs-Business Consultation forum, it will remain so. The forum has taken the initiative to form a TC&BM Expertise Centre. Six organizations* have worked together for months on the realization of this concept – with the support of the Top Sector Logistics. It has led to a separate component on the KennisDC Logistics** portal. This so-called knowledge box is now ready and houses several dozens of publications on major European research projects involving Customs, the business community and Dutch scientific institutes. The intention is to expand the content in the coming years with a steady flow of research reports. Because the Knowledge Box TC&BM is also fed by companies, this will develop into a vibrant community – for anyone active in cross-border supply chains. Such an environment must inspire SME entrepreneurs to innovation and continuous improvement, thus contributing to the Netherlands’ leading position in global logistics.
